LOWER SCHOOL SUMMER ACADEMICS

Personalized Programs
Once a camper is enrolled in Delphi summer camp, he or she receives an academic program geared to his/her exact needs. Whether a camper is looking to get ahead in academics or wants extra help, a diagnostic test helps isolate strengths and weaknesses. Of course, parents are brought into the process to ensure the school and families are well coordinated. Included as part of the program is the amount of emphasis and length of time campers would spend on academics versus other activities.

Small Class Size
Our Lower School classes are small enough that campers get a lot of personal attention with their academics. With roughly 12-14 students to one teacher, no one "falls through the cracks."

Choice of Courses
There are a variety of courses available from which campers can select, including those that help with reading and comprehension basics, arithmetic and writing skills. A complete list of academic courses available this summer can be obtained from the Admissions Office.

Experienced Teachers
One major advantage to Delphi Summer academics is that the same teachers who are there for the year-round program teach academics during the summer session. That way, students receive the best service educationally surrounded by the lively camp atmosphere of summer.
