Elementary School students have a range of elective courses from which to choose.
These courses are held daily, each week of the summer program.
Covers basic jazz concepts, learning how to be a part of an ensemble, and playing
instruments such as flute, sax, clarinet, drum set, piano, bass, guitar, trumpet,
etc. Learn the basics of reading music and playing by ear.
Covers beginning music concepts and learning to be a part of an ensemble. Learn
the basics of reading music and playing by ear. Instruments include guitar, piano,
bass and drums.
Learn the basics of painting with acrylics, watercolor and oil; learn drawing basics.
Learn basic craft skills from making soap to trinkets plus key chains and small
figurines.
Learn the basics of woodworking, sanding, staining, filing, handsaws, etc.
